What does Managed Security Shield cover?
The agreed scope is organized around four operating pillars: identity, defense, resilience, and governance. The specific Microsoft 365, endpoint, backup, email, monitoring, and documentation responsibilities are defined up front.
Can our existing IT provider use the findings?
Yes. The assessment stands on its own, and your existing provider can use it as the remediation plan. Hiring Prometheus for implementation or ongoing service is not required.
What is recurring service versus separately scoped work?
Recurring service covers the agreed security, Microsoft 365, identity, endpoint, backup, and governance administration. Major migrations, new office deployments, forensic investigations, incident response, and other project work are scoped separately.
